Meet Zoe
Bachelor of Science (Occupational Therapy) and Graduate Certificate of Therapeutic Child Play
Zoe is the Owner of Wings Occupational Therapy and is a passionate Occupational Therapist.
Zoe has worked as an Occupational Therapist in Paediatrics, the Disability Employment Sector (providing supports relating to physical and mental health) and in Aged Care. Throughout her working career as an Occupational Therapist, Zoe has demonstrated quality, evidence-based practices with a strong focus on improving wellbeing outcomes and upholding effective operational processes.
Zoe has varied experience in leadership roles including working as an Acting Operations Manager, working as a Service Delivery Manager for a NDIS provider managing a Speech Pathology and Occupational Therapy Clinical Lead, working as a Regional Manager overseeing a team of Occupational Therapists, Registered Psychologists and Provisional Psychologists and supervising Therapy Assistants and Volunteers. Zoe has particularly enjoyed the growth, learning and connection aspects of her leadership experiences and uses coaching and compassion to build trust to empower those around her. These skills are her strengths during service delivery with children and families, whereby she is focussed on building relationships to enhance therapy outcomes.
As an Occupational Therapist, Zoe enjoys collaborating with children and their families to help them thrive and reach their goals. Zoe is thorough in her therapeutic approach, ensuring she is inclusive, family-centred and respectful. Zoe has provided occupational therapy services in the home, school, childcare setting, clinic and telehealth. Zoe has experience completing assessments and reports, goal setting, providing one on one therapeutic interventions, empowering parents through coaching and collaborating with educators. Zoe’s interest areas include emotional regulation, mental health support, fine motor skills, play skills and intrapersonal skills.
Zoe is currently a member of Occupational Therapy Australia and is registered with AHPRA.
